This origami is very easy to make, but very decorative and fun. Enjoy! (You can use colored paper or plain white paper if you want.)
Step 1: Fold in half along a diagonal. |
Step 2: Fold the corners into the crease you just made. |
Step 3: Flip the paper over and then fold the triangle towards the other side. |
Step 4: Flip the paper over again, then fold the corners into the middle |
Step 5: Barely crease the corner to make the nose. Then fold up the corner on the triangle to make the ears. |
Step 6: Fold in half along the crease made in Step 1. |
Step 7: Fold the tail by using the other end to just creasing it anywhere close to the body. |
There's the finished product. The White-faced Mouse. Excuse the lighting, I had flash on by accident. But this origami is very easy, can be done at anytime. All you will need is a square sheet of paper of any size.

Hi James, I liked how you made the steps easy to follow. I also liked how you added captions to make the steps even easier. I agree that this white-faced mouse is an easy origami animal to make because it does not contain a lot of steps. Do you think it is appropriate to use a pen to draw some eyes on the mouse? Do you know of any other easy origami animals to make?
ReplyDeleteHi Jonathan, Well to answer your question about drawing, Yes! Go right ahead, decorate the origami however you like. As of currently, I don't know any other easy origami animals to make, but you can be my guest and suggest some.
