Preparation to Avoid Injury in Soccer

The most important aspect to prevent an injury is staying fit. The fittest players have the least injuries. Though some say soccer takes no energy its a game of stamina, running for long distances, explosive speed, and running quickly over short distances. The key to being in good shape is turning your limitations into your strengths. So if you could not run a mile but you practiced running every day running far distances until you could run for a mile without stopping that would be an example of turning a limitation into a strength. The main reason staying healthy is good especially for soccer players is when we are tired we become more prone to injury. The most common injuries for soccer players are joint and muscle injuries. These hindrances can happen through sudden shifts in pace and direction. Another way to boost your stamina is to do physical activity nonstop for around 15 minutes. By doing this it will exercise your heart increasing your stamina which reduces the chance of injuries.
