BASKETBALL JOBS

When playing on a team, ideally, you want different types of players with different heights and skills. Every person on the court has a certain job that they're responsible for. Here are the jobs you can choose to do when on the court
1. Ball handler. Ball handling takes a lot of skill and its one of if not the most important position to play. Ball handlers are in charge of bringing the ball up the court, passing to open players/moving the ball around, creating shots for themselves, and controlling the pace of the game

2. Rebounder. If you are one of the shorter people on the court, this position isn't for you. People who usually play this position are the taller people on the court that can reach above others (when jumping) and grab the ball when it bounces off the rim. The rebounder also gets many opportunities to score by grabbing the ball and putting it back up. This position is really efficient because you get to stand within 3 feet of the basket and allows you to make an easy shot

3. Protectors. This position is also played by taller players that can strike fear into the opponents eyes. The paint protector is played when you are on defense and they are located in the paint (next to the rim). Their job is to block shots that are close to the rim and grab rebounds

Now that you know the main positions to play, which one do you think fits best with you?
