-The Rule of Color-
One important rule to remember when taking the perfect picture is the rule of color. This rule can change the viewer look on the image it can also create emotion for the viewer towards the image.
On page 25 Nicole Woods has said, "The rules regarding colors will depend on a lot of things like the emotion you would like to promote and what you want to focus on. For example, if you want to deliver calm and tranquil feelings, blue and other cool colors are good, red light invokes alertness, and sudden bright glares can emphasize your focal point all more."
In this quote Nicole Woods is telling us how the color of the image can change how the viewer feels about the image.
In the image above the blue color of the sky can promote the feeling of being calm. It can also help attract more attention to your focal point and make it the first thing people will see.

Mankinder, that is a beautiful photo! I think the rule of color affects a picture because it sets the mood and tone of the image. Do you think that certain colors could have more than one tone?
ReplyDeleteHi Valeriya! I think that certain colors do have a better tone compared to other. These colors can help set a emotion of the picture that you want the viewer to see.
